AERIAL YOGA

If you are looking for greater freedom of movement and zero compression inversions, open up and be free with ENERCHI, Aerial yoga and Arial Theraputics

Aerial Yoga practices, use a soft aerial apparatus that is designed to adapt to the body’s shape, mimicking the movement of fascia and skin to allow for the experience of freedom in motion. Uniquely different from any normal gravity experience, you can fly, float and be supported in suspension.

The aerial hammock is a sensory medium that enhances neural integration and offers the restorative benefits of zero-compression inversions, incorporating joint and viscera decompression while developing 3-dimensional spatial awareness. Aligning the body from head to toe while stretching and strengthening your muscles. Zero compression inversions release a happy hormone cocktail from your endocrine system, including serotonin, endorphins, and dopamine.

All classes are easily modified to accommodate all levels of fitness which can also be used as a comprehensive fitness technique designed to increase one’s overall health and physical agility while having fun.  Ageing gracefully means maintaining strength, stability mobility and flexibility in our body, the joints need to be mobilised, the muscles need to be worked to maintain proper alignment and the discs of the spine need to be hydrated to minimise dehydration. If we don’t use it, we risk losing it!

Yoga is a practice of awareness of body mind and spirit. Despite years of evolution of the technique, this is the basis for the form and the one constant in all yoga disciplines.

MEN’S STRETCH CLASS

Stretching is so much better with a hammock! We understand everyone deserves to feel the amazing benefits of the hammock without having to practice yoga.

These classes are designed to meet the unique needs of men. Emphasizing greater range of movement, strength, stability, flexibility.

Limited range of motion can lead to pain, injury and poor overall performance.

The soft tissues that surround the joint determine joint movement. If muscles become shortened due to overuse or underuse, this can alter the way joints move.

In this class we use trigger points along with contract and release techniques.

YOGA THERAPY

Although yoga as a practice is therapeutic, there are significant differences between a yoga class and a yoga therapy session.

When clients seek out a yoga therapist or a therapeutic group, they are not coming to learn yoga, but to get help with or relief from some symptom or health condition that is troubling them. Working one on one we address the clients specific health needs and incorporate aspects of traditional yoga and ayurveda with modern medicine to help the client feel better or improve their function. Yoga Therapy is also used as a self-care strategy for prevention and maintenance.

PETER HESS SOUND MASSAGE

Sound massage offers an opportunity to calm the mind and reconnect with your body due to the sound and vibrations of the singing bowls positioned with care on the dressed body. Gentle and harmonious sounds are absorbed and as a result the client  is quickly able to achieve a state of deep relaxation. Vibrations from the singing bowl ripple through the body like a stone being dropped into a pond; its effects are felt through our skin, muscles, joints and organs, giving you a nurturing massage on a cellular level.

Sound Massage is a multi-sensory method. It is heard and felt, enabling you to calm the mind, connect with the body and heal through vibration.

During a sound massage, an atmosphere of safety and security is created, making it  possible to let go – release stress, anxiety, worry, doubt and feelings that have a negative impact on our health, leaving you feeling refreshed, deeply relaxed with a clear mind.
